Je Jun Lee wins "Best Canadian Student Website" at the FITC Awards
As the bar for creativity in digital media is set higher every year, one conference, FITC (Future.Innovation.Technology.Creativity) brings out high quality projects and puts them on display for all to vote and reward these talented designers/developers.
On Tuesday night, the Awards show, which took place at XS Night Club here in Toronto, was packed with anticipation to see who would walk away with awards for their projects and the recognition of their fellow peers. With a variety of categories including 3D, Advertisement, Best Student, Game, Motion Graphics and Visual Design to name a few, there wasn’t a lack of creativity in the room to say the least.
We are pleased to announce that Je Jun Lee, a recent graduate of Humber’s Multimedia Production and Technician course and newly hired Interactive Designer here at BNOTIONS took home the award for Best Canadian Student Website, showcasing his web portfolio: http://jejunlee.com/.
“What’s more amazing than the award itself is seeing my teachers, colleagues and friends who are genuinely happy for me. This FITC award made me realize I feel like I should keep on pushing my skills as designer before this trophy expires” – Je Jun Lee
There were 3 finalists in this category and each presented some creative works. Honorable mentions go out to Kristen Dodd (who won the People’s Choice award) and Steve Lam.
We’re thrilled to have Je Jun working with our Design team and look forward to showcasing some of the incredible designs they create together. Great work!
